After ten years of writing and acting in community theatre plays, as well as several years reading, reviewing and consulting on scripts for my publisher, I decided it was time to write a book on what I knew. In co-ordination with my writing partners at TLC Creative, I conceived and wrote this short guide to writing plays for the community stage. It’s not a step by step ‘how to’, but it contains advice on avoiding the most common errors made by writers, and what to do with the play once you’ve completed it.
I recently collected four stories of a Sci-fi/Fantasy nature into a collection called “Science Fiction Shorts”, which has been well received by readers. This collection includes the full text of “Twist Stiffly and the Hounds of Zenit Emoga”
Recently I published three short tales from a first person, male perspective, called “Troubled Souls”
This book also features the opening of my new novella, set (like so many are) during the Zombie Apocalypse. Seriously, when IS that going to arrive? You can buy it at Amazon: Amazon US: http://amzn.to/TroubledSouls

My crowning glory is the account of our first year of emigration to British Columbia: The Great Canadian Adventure
In November 2013 I released a short e-novella for Young Adults (and anyone else who wants to read it…) called “Tribute“.
It tells the story of Lisa, the daughter of a legendary rock guitarist who hopes to emerge from his shadow now that he has died. A chance meeting with another member of her father’s band sparks the hope that he can help her with her own songwriting ambitions, but first she must dissuade him from his crazy plan to win a tribute band competition by entering as…. himself!
December 2013 saw the release of “Eddie and the Kingdom”, a tale that began as one of the short stories for “Troubled Souls” but grew into a 50,000 word novella.
Eddie has survived the outbreak of the Zombie Apocalypse and made a comfortable home for himself. But the arrival of a fellow survivor threatens to turn his world upside down again – she’s escaped from a fenced compound called “The Kingdom”, ruled by ruthless men with guns, and those fences are expanding every day. Soon they will enclose Eddie’s own home.
